Session: Lotus Connections 2.0 and Beyond - Connectr #6

Following on from another successful event at IBM Dublin just ahead of the Irish Lotus User Group, the Connectr team (a.k.a. IBM Lotus Connections Special Interest Group) are back in action. Hear about the impressive new features in Lotus Connections 2.0, share early implementation experiences gathered from around the globe and learn more about what helped the product to perform so well in the recent head to head at the Enterprise 2.0 Conference. Hear how to you can use Lotus Connections from within any number of everyday productivity tools, how you can integrate with WebSphere Portal and how to you can even Dogear Microsoft Sharepoint. This session would be ideal for people wishing to gain a better understanding of the range of new capabilities in Lotus Connections 2.0 and how to go about gaining value from using them within their own organization. The session will assume familiarity with websites, Portals and Web 2.0 but will be "tech lite", although we will cover aspects of integrating the product within existing and future infrastructures. We will aim to cover an introduction to this product and discuss some of the issues around adoption of this ground-breaking social computing platform. Expect this to be a very interactive session involving audience participation and maybe one or more special guests, the return of the much loved Buzzword Bingo and the ultimate test to see if you can work out the "Connection Conundrum" (ie who is the missing link) and prizes as a reward.
