Speaker: Lyn Rees, Cardiff University

Lyn joined Cardiff University’s Mail Team three years ago having previously worked for the Security Team. It didn’t take long before he found himself looking down the barrel of a rip-and-replace for both the Staff and Student email systems – around 8 thousand staff accounts to migrate from Groupwise, and 25 thousand students to migrate from Mercury/Pegasus. The new system of choice is, of course, Lotus Domino/Notes.
