Using the XPages Mobile Controls and Discussing Pros, Cons and Alternatives.

The new 8.5.3 Upgrade Pack 1 includes a set of controls that are aimed to make mobile XPages development easier. This session takes a tour of these controls showing the audience how to use them, the best ways to test and discusses the pros and cons of using these for mobile app development for smart-phones and tablets

For those people not yet on 8.5.3, or just fancy using something different, we will look at alternatives to these controls for use in mobile app development such as standard custom controls and JQuery Mobile.

The session involves extending an existing Notes app with a simple approval process to mobile devices and largely follows the presenter creating these in Domino Designer.
